Role of Teachers and learners

Hello friends,

Consciously defining each person's role, their responsibilities and success criteria within the team can have an instant positive impact. It ensures that: Everyone knows what they're doing. It sounds simple, but when roles are clear, people know what's expected of them, how to behave and what they need to accomplish.

Within every organisation, role clarity is important.

Role of Teachers

Teachers are best known for the role of educating the students that are placed in their care. Beyond that, teachers serve many other roles in the classroom. Teachers set the tone of their classrooms, build a warm environment, mentor and nurture students, become role models, and listen and look for signs of trouble.

When students’ behaviours change or physical signs of abuse are noticed, teachers are required to look into the problem. Teachers must follow faculty procedures when it comes to following up on all signs of trouble.

Role of learners

Learners are responsible for attending class and completing reading and other assignments as proscribed by the teacher. Although their first role in the process is as passive listener, listening requires paying attention during class. The responsibility for paying attention and studying was left up to the learner.

The role of a learner in a learning situation or a process is a very important and challenging role.

A learner should be a good listener, thinker, interpreter, constructor and generator of ideas, questioner, etc.

In traditional teacher-centric learning situations, the teacher takes up a clear, definite, authoritative role and imparts knowledge to the learner.  The learner's role is passive and learns by listening and following the learning instructions provided by the teacher.

In modern learner-centric learning situations, the learner takes up the prime role and actively engages in the learning process. The learner learns by doing things while the teacher becomes the facilitator of the learning process.

In any type of learning, the learner should be interested and motivated, attentive and focused in a learning situation to gain a positive learning outcome.

Minds filled with Inflexible material cannot figure out the present and future complexity and dynamic. Although most teachers and students spent many hours in classrooms to teach and learn the language, they have not had success in this area. Despite a great experience, I have still have not really found what is important in language teaching and learning in the classroom, seems like still I want to make this easier and interesting than this.It should be noted that I taught a set of individuals and any teaching process must enrich the emotions of both student and teacher.

Thank you.
